Well-being describes our happiness, confidence, physical condition & general outlook on life. It’s about feeling good & taking care of yourself; responsibilities that can often be neglected when juggling the rigorous demands of everyday living in the 21st century.
The subject of well-being has broad implications for quality of life, how we choose to live, from a philosophical & fulfilment viewpoint & in some cases potentially how long we live & whether we enjoy health & happiness, or suffer stress, anxiety & illness. This type of stress can also occur when people feel unable to cope with work demands, or environment & can result in decreased productivity & reduction in physical or mental health. Statistics show stress is increasing in people's lives. With over twenty years’ experience in self-awareness, I've helped many people in the community & business world change the way they feel, think and act. Including Mind, Middlesbrough Council, Teesside University and Middlesbrough & Hartlepool College. I have also delivered to Deloitte in London. I understand adversity and challenge at a level everyone can engage with, and give techniques to help others overcome their challenges. Calling on my own story, I enable people to identify with life experiences and show people how to take the steps that will give the freedom to succeed at whatever they choose. I love working in the community delivering workshops and classes specialising in emotional intelligence/freedom. I live and breathe the philosophy I teach, for which I've had feedback such as:
